spaces under the bridge are often neglected in urban planning ... it is a man-made landscape, a forest of concrete pilars, a suppressed forest, almost jail-like ... but it creates a tunnel-like effect, where there is light at the end, and makes one realised and appreciate the quality of open, airy, light space.
