today i went for morning tea with my friend Tim in this cute cafe hidden along Merthyr Road.
it is converted from a worker's cottage, with a cosy indoor area that is cluttered with quaint artefacts, cousions and books.
like entering a hipster's house, the front yard also has a touch of homeliness, mismatched second hand chairs and tables, scatted potted plants, and a wall full of posters for the latest gigs and galleries.
the cakes are absolutely devine, moist and fluffy, and every tea pot is unique.
