one weekend i went to redcliffe to visit my friend Fran,
we rode our bikes along the wide, flat road, and all the way along the ocean.
we saw many people bait-digging ...
the low tide makes it a perfect place to collect worms.
in the distance are the glass house mountains,
rippling in the horizon.
space, fresh air, sea breeze ... these qualities make
people and birds relaxed, happy and free
the little boy is throwing rocks into the sea,
while his old man is digging worms.
they are both occupied with a purpose,
anticipating the reward from their activity,
absorbed into the moment ...
nothing can make a dog happier than a walk along the beach
red and yellow - the big M has certainly made its mark in the aussie culture.
redcliffe's own titanic
there's something dignified, monumental and graceful about a shipwreck
perhaps it's the attraction of the mystery, the possibilities, and the stories that were untold ...
every child loves a cloud of fairy floss
there's nothing more tempting than freshly caught seafood ...
and chips
"come and give me a cuddle pretty hen"
"there we go, it's not that bad..."
"i'm a free bird !"
"and i can go wherever i want ...
... where are those strawberries ?"
"yum yum ... "
"follow the leader !"
"as long as you don't go near the strawberries ...
i'm watching you !"
"i just had some yummy chicken poo"
remnants from the previous house owners ...
the rich back yard :
chicken house
clothes rack
tool house
water tank
strawberry and vege patch (not seen in photo)
pond with fat gold fish
paw paw tree
a future extended deck
home-laid eggs
of all sizes and shapes !
thanks Franny!!
