springbrook national park is only an hour and a half drive from Brisbane.
With lots of walking tracks, it is an ideal weekend getaway.
the most memorable moment for me was the breathtaking water fall over a track.
Looking up, it is like watching an animated curtain, moving with the wind,
behind me the cold water ran along the rockface, the coolth can be felt even from a distance.
this made me think how nice it would be,
if all offices would be naturally cooled and ventilated by running water...
the little lake in the middle of the track is a popular spot for people jumping into the water from the rocks,
an activity banned but the rule completely ignored.
I felt faraway from the city,
the lush eucalyptus rainforest made the area a few degrees cooler,
the smell of the air was so clean, so full of oxygen, a real brain booster.
I think national parks are a better way of treating city-bound stress caused headaches than any medicine or hospital treatments ... nature is the cure and answer to everything.
